Using the Canon WM-V1 Wireless Bluetooth Microphone set you can reliably record sound even when recording subjects at a distance exceeding the practical range of the camera's built-in microphone. You can also mix and record audio from the WM-V1 with audio from the built-in microphone.

The set includes a wireless microphone transmitter and a receiver that connects to the camera via a standard stereo 3.5mm input. Also supplied are two earpieces for monitoring audio and to allow for communication - the WMV1 features a function for two-way communication between the transmitter and receiver, allowing the camera operator and talent to communicate even if beyond earshot or in noisy ambient conditions.

With a range of up 50 metres, high quality audio can be captured when your subject needs to be placed at a distance from the camera, or when you don't want to deal with messy cables, all without having to spend thousands of dollars on expensive professional lavalier mics, body packs and receivers.
